  Our Company

For many years apartment developers and owners were at the mercy of the large franchise cable company. This was often the only cable service company in an area. The Federal Government allowed these franchise cable companies to operate as self-serving monopolies free of any competition and virtually exempt from any federal antitrust laws. The owner required cable TV as a necessity to attract and maintain apartment residents.

Accordingly, these cable TV rights were usually "given away" to the local franchise cable company, who in turn, reaped huge profits from charging the owner's residents for cable TV service. If the Developer dare asked to be compensated in return for the rights to access his residents, he was told that he could go elsewhere (there was no "elsewhere"). His risk was trying to lease an apartment that might have no access to TV signal reception. The developer had little alternative and often was even required to bare the cost of pre-wiring a complex with cable solely for the benefit of the franchise cable system.

National Satellite is able to utilize today's innovative technology in the satellite transmission and communications industry. These technological advances have made the development and management of a on-site private cable TV system a reliable and routine operation that is now financially attractive to the owner of an apartment community. This is referred to a "PRIVATE CABLE".
